Self Regional Healthcare began as Self Memorial Hospital in 1951 and was built to be one of the most advanced hospitals in the country. Local business leader and philanthropist James C. Self personally oversaw the construction and recruited top physicians from across the country.

Transitional Care Unit
The TCU staffs skilled nurses for patients in need of short-term rehabilitation or who have medically complex conditions and are not ready to be released from the hospital, but do not require acute care nursing.
Ambulatory Care Center
From pre-op to post-op, our specially trained, highly-skilled staff can assist with any type of same day outpatient surgery.
Behavioral Health Services
Patients can receive treatment on an inpatient or outpatient basis, depending on individual needs. Patients are able to transition back into a normal routine comfortably and at their own pace.

Community Health Information Center
A complete resource center stocked with information on any health matter. Better yet, everything is explained in layman's terms. CDs, computers with Internet access, books, brochures and videos are located on the sixth floor of Self Regional Medical Center and are free to use.
Pastoral Care
Self Regional believes in total patient care including spiritual needs. Since its inception in the late 1950s, our clergy staff has been an ordained or properly authorized group of ministers dedicated to serving the spiritual needs of patients, families and staff.
